Catalyst Investment Managers (“Catalyst”) was established in 1989 and is one of the most experienced private equity firms in the Australasian market. Catalyst has completed over 30 leveraged buyouts across a wide range of sectors.

Catalyst is fully independent and is owned by its senior executive team. Catalyst manages funds in excess of A$1bn and is currently completing the raising of it's new $500m plus fund with primary and coinvestment commitments from leading Australian and international investors. Investors in Catalyst funds are typically large domestic and international superannuation funds.

Catalyst’s investment team has played a critical role in some of Australia’s most successful private equity transactions and brings proven deal origination, execution, portfolio management and exit capabilities.
