Aperio Group is Australasia’s leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products with manufacturing operations across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Aperio utilises a range of technologies to produce innovative packaging solutions for blue-chip customers in the food, beverage, agricultural and industrial sectors.
Aperio Group was formed in May 2005 to acquire AEP Industries’ Australasian packaging assets. The acquisition was made in partnership with Peter Sutton, a highly regarded Australian packaging executive, who is Managing Director of Aperio.

Since May 2005, Aperio has pursued a strategy of industry consolidation and has completed the acquisitions of FPS International (December 2005), Epic Packaging (July 2006) and the Finewrap Group (July 2006). In 2007, Aperio opened a new manufacturing facility in Thailand to service both Australasian and Asian customers. Catalyst and Aperio continue to monitor the packaging industry for further acquisition and organic growth opportunities.
